Coach Ngoc Hoa will not participate in the first leg of SEA V.Cup 2026
Coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa was assigned by the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team to train players who are not on the list of 14 officials participating in the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament in Dong Anh (Hanoi).
Therefore, Ms. Ngoc Hoa did not participate in the tournament. Currently, coach Ngoc Hoa is training with reserve players at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.
Recently, coach Ngoc Hoa, in charge of the role of head coach of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team, competed in the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Championship and the 2026 Asian U18 Championship in Thailand.
After returning home, coach Ngoc Hoa joined the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
After the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament, the teams will participate in the second leg of the tournament held in Chiangmai (Thailand) from August 7 to August 9.
At that time, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet will make personnel adjustments for stage 2 of the tournament.
Participating in the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has assistants Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung and Ms. Vu Thi Hoa and fitness expert Karl Lim.
Vietnam men's team returns to 63rd place in the world
The Vietnamese men's volleyball team returns to 63rd place in the world on the FIVB rankings.
We have been awarded points and improved our position after a 3-0 victory over the Myanmar team on July 24 in the 2nd leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament.
If they continue to win in the next matches at the tournament, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will change their ranking positively.
Ranked above the Vietnamese team is the Thai team with 58th place in the world.
The Indonesian men's volleyball team is ranked 42nd in the world. The 2nd leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 held in Indonesia will close on July 26.
