In the men's 25m gun gun competition at the final day of the 2025 Asian Shooting Championship in Kazakhstan, the Vietnam Shooting Team consisting of Pham Quang Huy, Ha Minh Thanh and Phan Cong Minh achieved a total of 1720 points in second place, winning a silver medal.
However, the above shooters did not win medals in individual results. The champion of the men's 25m pistol team was the Indian team (1733 points).
The 2025 Asian Shooting Championship ended after the final competition on the evening of August 29, local time.
The Vietnamese shooting team ranked 6th overall (2 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 5 bronze medals). 2 gold medals went to shooters competing in the youth group.
The Vietnam shooting team has 20 shooters participating in the 2025 Asian Shooting Championship. The athlete's achievements will be the basis for the coaching staff to review the force participating in the 33rd SEA Games.
On the final table of the 2025 Asian Shooting Championship, the Indian team ranked first with 50 gold medals, 26 silver medals, and 23 bronze medals. Second place is Kazakhstan with 21 gold medals, 24 silver medals and 25 bronze medals. The Chinese team is in third place (15 gold medals, 17 silver medals, 5 bronze medals).
After the 2025 Asian Championship, the shooter of the Vietnam Shooting Team returned home on August 30 to continue participating in the 2025 National Outstanding Shooter Tournament in Hanoi.
