The Vietnamese shooting team registered Trinh Thu Vinh to participate in the 2025 ISSF World Cup (under the system of the World Shooting Federation) in China from September 8 to September 15.
Trinh Thu Vinh competed in the 2025 Asian Championship in Kazakhstan in early August 2025 and won an individual bronze medal in the women's 25m sports pistol event.
Now, she continues to participate in the 2025 ISSF World Cup. In China, Trinh Thu Vinh will compete in 3 events including 10m women's air pistol, 25m women's sports pistol and 10m men's and women's team air pistol. Her goal is to win a medal at the tournament.
The coaching staff of the Vietnam Shooting Team sent a Mongolian expert to accompany Trinh Thu Vinh in China this time.
In addition to shooter Trinh Thu Vinh, we have other shooters competing, including Pham Quang Huy, Le Thi Mong Tuyen, Ha Minh Thanh, Lai Cong Minh, Nguyen Tam Quang, Tran Cong Hieu. Previously, shooters Ha Minh Thanh, Pham Quang Huy, Lai Cong Minh competed effectively at the 2025 Asian Championship.
After the 2025 ISSF World Cup in China, the shooter of the Vietnam Shooting Team will return home to prepare for the 2025 National Championship. After that, the coaching staff will select the best shooter to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December.
