The Vietnamese Gymnastics Team is the next members to be present in Aichi-Nagoya (Japan) to participate in ASIAD 20.
Coach Truong Minh Sang, along with the coaching staff and 8 players (Nguyen Van Khanh Phong, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien, Trinh Hai Khang, Tran Dinh Vuong, Do Nam Anh, Huynh Thien Ly, Tran Doan Quynh Nam, Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu) confidently entered the competition with the goal of winning medals at ASIAD 20.
According to registration, we will participate in all 14 contents of the tournament.
In which, in the men's singles event, Trinh Hai Khang and Do Nam Anh competed in freestyle gymnastics, backstroke, and horizontal bar.
Players Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien, Tran Dinh Vuong are registered to participate in the men's ring horse event. Nguyen Van Khanh Phong and Tran Dinh Vuong will compete in the men's suspension and parallel bar event.
For women, Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu participated in the single-sport resistance dance.
Players Tran Doan Quynh Nam, Huynh Thien Ly will participate in crossbar, freestyle gymnastics, and balance skating events.
At ASIAD 19, the Vietnamese Gymnastics Team won 1 silver medal in the men's singles wreath event by player Nguyen Van Khanh Phong.
At ASIAD 20, Khanh Phong received the task of focusing on competing to protect the medal achievement in this forte event.
ASIAD 20 Gymnastics will take place from September 21 to September 25.
When present in Japan, Vietnamese athletes are introduced to equipment at the main gymnasium of the sport before drawing lots for the registered competition events.
