At 6:20 PM on June 10, 2026, world oil prices simultaneously increased. In which, WTI oil price was at 89.47 USD/barrel, up 1.27% USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.44%. Brent oil was at 92.37 USD/barrel, up 0.92 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.01%.
Oil prices stabilized on Wednesday, as escalating tensions between the US and Iran disrupted trends and investors considered reduced demand from China with reduced global inventories.
According to analyst Tamas Varga of PVM, the reduction in global oil inventories is supporting prices, but China's reduction in crude oil imports also contributes to keeping prices at the ceiling, along with limited shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
However, it is difficult to reconcile the current anxiety with the persistent conflict that is engulfing the world's most important oil-producing region," said Tamas Varga.
The world gasoline and oil market in the past week's operating period was affected by key factors such as: The developments of the negotiation to end the conflict between the US and Iran; the US and Iran continued to attack each other while negotiating; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continued... The above factors caused the world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on each item.
