On the 30th day of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 (ie 29th day of the Lunar New Year), it was recorded at two Spring flower markets in Bao Loc city including: Spring flower market in the old market area and Spring flower market on Nguyen Cong Tru street (new market) showing that many stalls still have a large amount of flowers and ornamental plants such as yellow apricot, northern peach, kumquat, bougainvillea, chrysanthemum and bonsai.
Meanwhile, Dalat flower stalls such as lilies, gladiolus, phalaenopsis orchids... have almost sold out and are cleaning up for Tet holiday.
Small traders with inventory had to reduce prices by 40-60% to attract customers, with listed prices ranging from 70,000 to 200,000 VND per pot of kumquat, apricot, and peach.

Ms. Thuy - a kumquat seller - shared: "This year, I brought more than 500 kumquat pots from Phu Yen, but due to reduced purchasing power, now I have more than 200 pots left. I reduced the price to get back the capital, hoping to sell them all tonight so I can go home to celebrate New Year's Eve with my family."
According to flower and ornamental plant vendors at Bao Loc Spring Flower Market, this year the flower market is full of flowers and ornamental plants, but purchasing power has decreased sharply compared to previous years.
Although the prices of flowers, kumquats, and ornamental plants have not increased, due to the difficult economic situation and limited income, many people are hesitant to spend.
On the 30th of Tet, the atmosphere at Bao Loc Spring flower markets became much busier, people took the opportunity to choose flowers and ornamental plants that fit their budget.

Many people buy mai and kumquat trees at heavily discounted prices. However, despite the “clearance sale,” retailers still have difficulty selling out their stock.
Mr. Ty - a yellow apricot flower vendor - shared: "This morning, the flower market was very crowded, causing Nguyen Cong Tru Street to be constantly congested. We not only "cleared our inventory" but also continuously invited customers to come in and buy."
"However, because the apricot trees are large and cost from 2-5 million VND/tree, people mainly choose cheap flowers and ornamental plants. Currently, I still have more than 30 apricot trees that have not been sold. I hope to sell a few more to bring home for Tet."
