According to information from the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone (KTCK), after discussing and reaching agreement with the Bang Tuong Commercial Department and the Ninh Minh District Commercial Department ( guangxi, China), from January 1 to May 5, the three border gates of Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan, Tan Thanh - Po Chai and Chi Ma - Ai Diem will maintain normal customs clearance activities.
In particular, the Coc Nam (Van Lang district, Lang Son) - Lung Nghiu (Bang Tuong, Guangxi) pair will temporarily suspend customs clearance from January 1 to May 5 at the request of China.
On May 2, at the import-export of goods at Huu Nghi International Border Gate, according to the reporter's records, the number of import-export goods transport vehicles remained high, fluctuating around 1,000 vehicles/day.

In which, the main products are fresh agricultural products, electronic components, machinery and equipment and consumer goods.
Talking with reporters, the leader of the Huu Nghi International Border Gate Customs Branch said that businesses from both sides will take advantage of the holiday to work with China to boost transactions and reduce inventory pressure after the holiday.
Along with that, the customs force also arranged officers on duty to support the smooth import-export.
At Tan Thanh Border Gate, customs clearance activities also take place smoothly, focusing on agricultural products such as dragon fruit, jackfruit, mangoes and bananas exported from the Southern and Central Highlands provinces.
"The authorities on both sides of the border gate have maintained a 24/7 communication channel, promptly supporting the handling of arising situations and regulating vehicles, helping to reduce waiting time at the border gate area," said Mr. Nong Quang Hung, Deputy Head of Tan Thanh Customs Branch.

Mr. Bui Thanh Long, representative of a logistics company in Lang Son, said that maintaining customs clearance during the holiday has helped businesses save on storage costs, reduce the risk of damage to fresh goods and meet delivery schedules for Chinese partners.
Recorded from the last days of April, the number of import and export vehicles through Lang Son province's border gates increased sharply, at times reaching over 1,900 vehicles/day.
Maintaining customs clearance activities through the holidays is considered an important factor contributing to reducing logistics costs and maintaining a stable trade rhythm, especially in the context of increased demand for agricultural products and electronic components from both sides.

Informing reporters, Mr. Hoang Khanh Duy, Deputy Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Industrial Park, said that the unit has proactively coordinated with functional forces to promptly inform the business community, creating proactive conditions in adjusting the plan for transporting and exporting import and export goods.
"To ensure customs clearance efficiency during the 5 days of holiday, authorities at border gates continue to maintain regular exchanges with the Chinese side, and at the same time implement enhanced measures such as expanding the time frame for customs clearance procedures, implementing electronic customs clearance, regulating vehicle traffic flow and improving inspection and control capacity at the site" - Mr. Duy said.
