According to the Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee, this method helps to collect public opinions as quickly and fully as possible to absorb explanations. Therefore, this is the reason why the composition of the draft Committee amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution includes representatives of the Ministry of Public Security.
At the same time, the content of this amendment to the Constitution does not have content related to the fields of national defense, security, social order and safety. Therefore, the representative of the Ministry of National Defense's leadership did not participate in the drafting Committee.
Also according to Chairman Hoang Thanh Tung, this afternoon, the Draft Committee will hold a meeting to discuss and approve the plan to collect public opinions, sectors and levels on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
This plan will specify the roadmap, necessary work to be implemented, the responsibilities of relevant agencies and the work to be carried out. The Government is expected to be responsible for organizing the collection of public opinions in localities, ministries and branches and organizing seminars and seminars to collect opinions.
