According to the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, there is currently a situation where KOLs (celebrity people), including many people who are editors, journalists or collaborators, often appear on radio and television to receive advertisements for food and health protection foods and violate the provisions of the law on advertising.
The reason for the above situation is that advertisers lack basic knowledge about advertising for products and services, especially food, medicine, medical examination and treatment services - directly affecting human health and life or not carefully researching the products they advertise.
Therefore, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information recommends that advertisers should carefully research the product, check the ingredients, utilities, and documents related to the product, and be responsible to the community, avoid advertising exaggeratedly, using products regardless to achieve profits and sales.
