Domestic coffee prices
As of 11:30 today (11.), domestic coffee prices have fluctuated for a week in all key regions.
In Dak Lak, coffee is purchased at 128,200 VND/kg, down 1,800 VND compared to the closing price of the previous week. Meanwhile, Gia Lai witnessed a sharp price drop of VND1,600, down to VND128,100/kg.
Lam Dong is no exception when the price reached 128,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg.
Despite a sharp decrease of VND1,700/kg compared to last week, Dak Nong is still the locality with the highest pepper purchasing price in the group, setting the mark of VND128,300/kg.

World coffee prices
To summarize this week, the global coffee market fluctuated in different directions. Accordingly, Robusta prices for delivery in July 2025 decreased by 65 USD/ton (equivalent to 1.2%), while Arabica prices increased by 2.3 cents/lb (equivalent to 0.6%).
Coffee market assessment
The world coffee market last week was supported by a weak USD, however, positive signals from global supply have created downward pressure on prices, especially when Brazil began harvesting Robusta.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the first 4 months of the year, Vietnam's coffee exports continued to achieve impressive results with an average unit price of nearly 5,700 USD/ton (including processed coffee), an increase of 67.5% over the same period in 2024.
In terms of market, Germany, Italy and Spain are the 3 largest coffee consuming markets in Vietnam, accounting for 16.9%, 8.4% and 7.3%, respectively.
As of the first quarter of 2025, coffee exports to the German market have increased 2.1 times; Italy increased by 20%; Spain increased by 36.1%.
