Recording gas prices of Petrolimex Gas Corporation today, May 29, shows that the retail price level continues to be stable in many provinces and cities as businesses have not adjusted the price list after the increase in early May:
According to the latest price list of Petrolimex Gas, in Hanoi, the price of 12kg domestic gas cylinders is currently listed at 598.104 VND/cylinder, while the 48kg industrial cylinder line is maintained at 2,392.416 VND/cylinder.
In Hai Phong, gas prices continue to remain stable at 596.160 VND/12kg cylinder and 2,428.704 VND/48kg cylinder.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market has not recorded new fluctuations. Currently, the retail price of 12kg domestic gas cylinders is maintained at around 58.7 million VND, while 48kg industrial cylinders are at around 2,263,000,000 VND.
In the Southern region, Petrolimex continues to maintain the retail price list in Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, a 12kg domestic gas cylinder is being sold for 592,000 VND, while a 48kg industrial cylinder maintains around 2,364,000 VND.
Notably, Can Tho continues to be the locality with the lowest price in the Petrolimex system. Currently, 12kg gas cylinders are sold for about 550,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders fluctuate around 2,200,000 VND.
According to records, Petrolimex's continued stability of the price level is contributing to maintaining the balance of the domestic gas market, in the context that world energy prices have not shown sufficiently large fluctuations to create new adjustment pressure.
