The price of pigs today, June 12, in the Northern region still fluctuates between 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. The areas of Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh provinces still maintain the level of 68,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang recorded prices of 69,000 VND/kg.
In the Central - Central Highlands region, pig prices also remained stable, fluctuating between 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg. Of which, Quang Tri is the only locality trading at 68,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong and Binh Thuan traded at the highest price in the region of 73,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs fluctuated between 72,000 - 74,000 VND/kg after a slight decrease yesterday, June 12. This is still the area with the highest price of live pigs in the country.
Of which, the provinces of Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu are trading at 74,000 VND/kg. Ben Tre is the province with the lowest trading price in the region at 72,000 VND/kg.
