The price of live pigs in the North has not recorded any new fluctuations, still fluctuating around 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
Of which, Lao Cai and Ninh Binh traded live pigs at 68,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces in the region such as: Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho are trading at 69,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs ranges from 67,000 - 70,000 VND/kg.
Of which, the price of live pigs in Quang Tri, Hue City recorded a decrease of VND 1,000/kg, to VND 67,000/kg - the lowest level in the country. Some other provinces also recorded prices of 67,000 VND/kg such as: Da Nang City, Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak.
Lam Dong area has the highest price of live pigs in the area at 70,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, many provinces also recorded a decrease in live pig prices of 1,000 VND/kg: Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Can Tho and Ca Mau.
Of which, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau still hold the highest price of 71,000 VND/kg. Vinh Long has the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg.
