Meanwhile, Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang kept prices higher than VND69,000/kg.
In the Central - Central Highlands, the lowest price of live pigs today is 67,000 VND/kg and the highest is 71,000 VND/kg. Pork prices in Binh Dinh are the lowest in the region at 67,000 VND/kg. In contrast, Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan maintain 71,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces are generally around the 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg mark.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs today remains at the highest level in the country. Of which, Ba Ria Vung Tau has the highest price for buying live pigs at 73,000 VND/kg - the highest in the country. Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ca Mau follow closely with 72,000 VND/kg. The common price is 71,000 VND/kg, some places such as Dong Thap and Vinh Long have the lowest price of live pigs in the area with more than 70,000 VND/kg.
