In the Northern region, live pig prices today recorded a decrease of about 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces such as Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh and Lao Cai, bringing the purchase price of pigs in these localities to 69,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, only Hai Phong, Son La and Hung Yen maintained the highest price in the region at 70,000 VND/kg. Overall, live pig prices in the North currently fluctuate in the range of 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, reflecting a sideways trend after the previous strong increase period.


In the Central region, live pig prices also showed signs of a slight decrease in some key provinces. Specifically, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An adjusted down to 68,000 VND/kg, while localities such as Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue and Da Nang are at 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.
In addition, some localities such as Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa still recorded slight price increases, at 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg, contributing to maintaining the regional price level trading around 64,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, live pig prices are relatively stable. In Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, the highest live pig prices in the region are still at 65,000 VND/kg, while provinces such as Tay Ninh, Can Tho, An Giang and Vinh Long recorded common prices of 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg. Some places such as Dong Thap and Vinh Long have slightly adjusted down by 1,000 VND/kg.
