Assessments and forecasts
The domestic pepper market has just recorded a strong wave of price increases right on the first day of May. This is the highest price milestone in more than a month, showing the market's sensitive response when the supply from the main harvest season just ended has begun to show signs of depletion.
The deep decrease in stockpiled goods among the people while export units are still urgently collecting to repay orders has created a natural price increase pressure, helping domestic pepper prices maintain their upward momentum despite fluctuations from the international financial market.
