Assessments and forecasts
World pepper prices in mid-April 2026 fluctuated inconsistently with price decreases in Vietnam and Brazil, but increased in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Meanwhile, domestic pepper prices continue to decline compared to the peak of 150,000 VND/kg due to increased supply from the new harvest, while demand has not increased correspondingly. It is expected that Vietnam's pepper harvest will end at the end of April, so domestic pepper prices will still be maintained around 140,000 VND/kg.
