Assessments and forecasts
Pepper prices in the domestic market maintained their upward momentum from the beginning of the week, although the increase was not large, but this is a noteworthy signal, reflecting the positive changes in the market after a period of sluggish trading before that.
According to many industry experts, in the short term, in the next week, pepper prices are likely to continue to fluctuate in a slight upward or sideways direction. The most positive scenario is that prices may rise to the 141,000 - 143,000 VND/kg range if supply continues to tighten and buying power is maintained.
In the opposite direction, if profit-taking pressure appears from sellers or demand shows signs of weakening, prices may adjust slightly to around 138,000 - 139,000 VND/kg. In addition, competitive factors from international markets may also affect domestic price movements.
