Perspectives and forecasts
Although domestic pepper prices have increased in the past 2 days, the trend of farmers selling out is not too massive because many garden owners still prioritize storing. In the context that supply is predicted to tighten in 2026 due to the impact of extreme weather, causing productivity in some regions to decrease significantly.
For businesses, the biggest challenge today is not only prices but also the problem of raw material shortages and strict technical barriers from the import market. Therefore, the ability to meet traceability standards will be a decisive factor to take advantage of price increases in the new cycle.
