Assessments and forecasts
Domestic pepper prices have a week of multi-dimensional fluctuations, with sideways trading sessions, slight increases and reversals of declines. Experts predict that pepper prices may continue to fluctuate in a narrow range if there is no strong impact from the international market. It is forecasted that in the second quarter of 2026, pepper prices may continue to maintain at a high level, especially when export demand is still stable.
Meanwhile, the global pepper market largely continues to witness stability. Despite slight adjustments in some countries, in general, pepper prices remain high due to stable demand from major markets such as the US and Europe.
