World pepper prices: fluctuations in the Indonesian market
In the world market, pepper prices continue to move in a downward direction. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets - simultaneously decreased by 0.21%. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,063 - 9,873 USD/ton (equivalent to 186,393 VND/kg - 260,549 VND/kg).
Meanwhile, the Brazilian market is stable, with trading levels remaining at 6,000 USD/ton (about 158,340 VND/kg). Malaysia's black and white stocks remain at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
In the pepper export market of Vietnam, the price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is stable, currently anchored at 6,140 - 6,270 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices reached 8,850 USD/ton (equivalent to 233,552 VND/kg).
