Domestic pepper prices: Continue to escalate
As of 11:30 today (September 31), the domestic pepper market continued to increase in price in the regions, increasing by an average of 1,500 VND/kg. Currently, the price ranges from 139,000 - 140,000 VND/kg.
List the price at 139,000 VND/kg for Gia Lai province, an increase of 2,000 VND/kg.
Pepper prices in Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously increased by VND 1,000/kg, announcing a price of VND 139,000/kg.
Meanwhile, Dak Lak and Lam Dong province, after a series of unchanged days, today's trading session increased by VND 1,500/kg and VND 2,000/kg respectively, anchored at VND 139,500 - 140,000/kg.
World pepper prices: "Turn around" to increase prices
In the world market, pepper prices after the day fell across many regions, immediately fluctuating in Indonesia and Brazil. The Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets increased by 0.07%. Currently, these two items are traded between 7,109 - 9,937 USD/ton (equivalent to 187,607 VND/kg - 262,238 VND/kg).
In the same direction, the Brazilian market had a strong increase of 1.67% to increase the trading level to 6,000 USD/ton (about 158,340 VND/kg). Meanwhile, Malaysia's black and white pepper remained at 11,750 USD/ton and 8,900 USD/ton.
Notably, in the Vietnamese pepper export market, the price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is unchanged, currently anchored at 6,140 - 6,270 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices reached 8,850 USD/ton (equivalent to 233,552 VND/kg).
