Assessment and forecast
Domestic pepper prices entered a tug-of-war period to determine a new trend. In the short term, the diarrhea is stable in some localities, with prices ranging from 147,000 - 150,000 VND/kg.
Despite the pressure to decrease, information about the declining output and low inventories are factors that protect and support pepper prices not to fall freely like coffee.
owners of growing areas continue to wait for new push-ups, not rushing to sell at prices below 148,000 VND, creating a tense situation between buyers and sellers.
