Domestic pepper prices: Comprehensive price increase
As of 12:00 today (December 6), domestic pepper prices have reversed and increased, currently trading between 147,500 - 149,000 VND/kg.
The regions recorded a simultaneous increase of 500 VND/kg, except for Ho Chi Minh City. The price list on the market in specific key areas is as follows:
Gia Lai is not listed at 147,500 VND/kg.
Dong Nai province is anchored at 148,000 VND/kg.
Dak Lak and Lam Dong have put the market at around 149,000 VND/kg.
World pepper prices: fluctuations in Indonesia
In the world market, pepper prices are mostly stable in the regions. In particular, the Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets - "cooled down". Currently, these two items are traded between 6,995 - 9,643 USD/ton (equivalent to 184,724 VND/kg - 254,653 VND/kg), down slightly by 0.04% and 0.05%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian market maintained a decrease of 0.41%, currently at 6,150 USD/ton (about 162,410 VND/kg). Meanwhile, black and white pepper are traded at 12,000 USD/ton and 9,000 USD/ton.
Notably, in the Vietnamese pepper export market, the price of 500 g/l and 550 g/l black pepper is anchored at the high level of 6,500 - 6,700 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices are currently at 9,250 USD/ton (equivalent to 244,274 VND/kg).

Assessment and forecast
According to statistics from the Vietnam Pepper and Spices Association (VPSA), in November 2025, Vietnam exported 18,582 tons of pepper of all kinds, including 16,322 tons of black pepper and 2,260 tons of white pepper, with a turnover of 121.5 million USD.
Compared to the previous month, exports decreased by 4.4% and turnover decreased by 6.2%. However, compared to the same period in 2024, exports still increased by 16.5% in volume and 14.2% in value, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth.
