The Vietnam women's volleyball team (home) has changed only 1 player from the initial list of 14. Middle blocker Le Nhu Anh was replaced by Nguyen Thi Trinh to compete in the 33rd SEA Games.
Thus, the official squad of 14 players of Vietnamese women's volleyball (home) in Thailand is Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thanh Thuy, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Le Thi Yen, Luu Thi Hue, Bui Thi Anh Thao and Tran Thi Thanh Thuy (captain).
The Vietnam men's volleyball team (home) has replaced striker Tran Anh Tu with libero Huynh Trung Truc to withdraw.
The list of 14 official faces of men's volleyball to compete in the 33rd SEA Games is Dinh Van Duy, Pham Van Hiep, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Nguyen Thanh Hai, Trinh Duy Phuc, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang, Duong Van Tien, Tran Anh Tu, Pham Quoc Du and Quan Trong Nghia (captain).
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Beach Men's Volleyball Team has 4 athletes: Le Hoang Y, Tran Van Viet, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Nguyen Lam Toi and the women's team includes: Nguyen Le Thi Tuong Vy, Chau Ngoc Lan, Dinh Thi My Nga and Mai Hong Hanh.
All players are allowed to register for participation cards according to the regulations of the 33rd SEA Games Organizing Committee. After completing the final registration list, the volleyball teams will not be able to change players. Each team will attend a technical meeting before officially competing in the 33rd SEA Games.
On December 5, representatives of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation worked and encouraged the professional preparation of the Vietnam Men's and Women's Volleyball Teams (home) and the Vietnam Beach Women's Volleyball Team that are practicing in the Southern region.
The 33rd SEA Games indoor volleyball event will be held in Bangkok (Thailand) while beach volleyball will be held in Chonburi (Thailand).
The 33rd SEA Games achievement target for the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team (home) is to reach the final, defending the silver medal. The Vietnam men's volleyball team (home) is striving to defend the bronze medal. The beach volleyball teams aim to win medals.
