Assessments and forecasts
Although pepper prices have slightly adjusted, there have not yet been breakthrough increases in the market. According to traders, many farmers still have a mentality of keeping goods, expecting pepper prices to continue to increase in the near future when supply is no longer as abundant as before.
In addition, Vietnam's sharp increase in pepper imports shows that the demand for raw materials for processing and export is still very large. In the context that domestic supply is no longer too abundant, businesses are promoting imports to ensure orders and maintain export activities in the coming time.
