According to Official Dispatch No. 7010 dated September 3, 2026 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the management of gasoline and oil selling prices, the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance shall implement the establishment of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund for diesel oil at 200 VND/liter; mazut oil at 200 VND/liter.
After adjustment, the maximum selling price for popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market is applied as follows:
- E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 22,486 VND/liter, an increase of 723 VND/liter compared to the previous operating period.
- E10RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 23,274 VND/liter, an increase of 672 VND/liter.
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 27,743 VND/liter, down 341 VND/liter.
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 17,641 VND/kg, down 499 VND/kg.
The above selling price is applied by key petroleum traders and petroleum distribution traders but not later than 3:00 PM on September 3, 2026, according to current regulations.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to coordinate with functional agencies to strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of responsibilities to ensure gasoline and oil supply of gasoline and oil traders; promptly detect and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
Along with that, the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance will continue to closely monitor the developments of the domestic and world gasoline and oil markets to manage prices in accordance with the actual situation; promptly report and propose to the Government and the Prime Minister management solutions to contribute to stabilizing the market, ensuring gasoline and oil supply for production, business and consumption.
