Gold ring price increased to 25 million VND after only one year
The domestic gold market has experienced many unexpected fluctuations in 2024. The price of gold bars and gold rings has continuously had breakthroughs.
Faced with this situation, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has implemented many intervention measures. After the gold bar auction did not bring the expected results, the SBV switched to the plan of selling gold to four state-owned commercial banks and SJC Company so that these units could supply the market.
After the above move, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings decreased sharply in May and June.

However, the decline did not last long. From September to November 2024, the domestic ring gold price continuously set new peaks. By the end of the fourth quarter of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, the ring gold price was affected by the world market, so there was a time when it decreased. But in February 2025, the ring gold price increased sharply, reaching the highest level in history.

Nearly 10.7 thousand enterprises established in January 2025
According to a new report released on February 6 by the General Statistics Office (Ministry of Planning and Investment), in January 2025, the country had nearly 10.7 thousand newly established enterprises with a registered capital of nearly 94.1 thousand billion VND. The number of registered employees was more than 81.5 thousand, an increase of 6.6% in the number of enterprises, a decrease of 2.4% in registered capital and a decrease of 14.8% in the number of employees compared to December 2024.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of enterprises decreased by 30.3%, registered capital decreased by 39.3% and the number of employees decreased by 22.3%. The average registered capital of a newly established enterprise in the month reached 8.8 billion VND, down 8.4% compared to the previous month and down 13.0% compared to the same period last year.
The additional registered capital of operating enterprises in January 2025 increased sharply, reaching more than 367.2 trillion VND, up 157.9% over the same period in 2024.
In addition, the whole country also had nearly 22.8 thousand enterprises returning to operation (nearly 2.6 times higher than the previous month and up 65.2% over the same period in 2024), bringing the total number of newly established and returning enterprises in January 2025 to more than 33.4 thousand enterprises, up 15.0% over the same period in 2024. Coffee prices continue to hit new highs
On February 6, the domestic coffee market continued to increase strongly, increasing by an average of 1,400 VND/kg per session, currently the purchase price fluctuates between 129,500 - 130,500 VND/kg. The average coffee purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces today is 130,400 VND/kg.
Lam Dong is still the province with the lowest coffee purchasing price in the Central Highlands region, with an average price difference of about 900 VND/kg.
