Great promotion
Speaking to Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luong - Director of LOTTE Mart Can Tho Supermarket - said that the unit has been implementing many promotional programs, focusing on essential goods from now until Tet. In particular, the program "Happy New Year Discount" is being implemented at the system of 16 LOTTE Mart supermarkets nationwide.
According to Mr. Luong, consumers are currently very interested in ensuring quality goods at reasonable prices, especially essential items for daily life. In response to this consumer trend, in addition to focusing on stockpiling goods, supermarkets are also increasing dialogue with suppliers to maintain prices and increase promotions in the context of many economic fluctuations.
Grasping and following the needs of customers, Ms. Dang Ngoc Uyen Phuong - Deputy Director of Co.op Mart Can Tho supermarket - informed that this year's prices of goods are basically guaranteed and diversified from low to high segments for consumers to easily choose.
In addition to direct discounts on products from 10% - 50%, buy 1 get 1 free, the supermarket also has promotional programs from now until Tet such as accumulating eligible bills to receive gifts. On weekends, the unit also applies a program to buy bills that meet the required value to buy products at extremely shocking discounts. On the supermarket's shopping page, there will also be separate promotional programs such as Tet 1, Tet 2, Tet 3, Tet 4. Each period will have different incentives.
Save and still have enough
With a series of promotions and shocking discounts, supermarkets and shopping malls have become ideal destinations for Can Tho residents to freely choose quality products for their families' Tet holiday.
Going to the supermarket on the weekend, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Luong (Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city) commented that the goods were displayed in abundance, the prices were reasonable and there were many attractive promotions.
“I buy some cakes, candies and some decorations for Tet. Shopping early helps me have more choices of products, designs and brands as well as avoid price increases in the days before Tet when customer demand increases suddenly. With promotional programs, some items I buy are 10% - 20% cheaper than outside and the quality is still guaranteed,” said Mr. Luong.
Also coming to the supermarket to hunt for early promotions, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Loan (Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city) shared that when the economic situation is still difficult, considering spending for Tet is quite important.
Taking advantage of going to supermarkets to buy promotional items helps Ms. Loan save money and avoid having her favorite products out of stock.
“Shopping early will give me more time to prepare for my family’s Tet holiday, avoiding the feeling of being busy and stressed. There are items with deep discounts of up to 50% compared to normal days, helping my family save significantly on expenses but still have enough. However, when buying discounted or promotional items, I also prioritize branded products, ensuring quality and expiry date,” Ms. Loan shared.
