Information from Market Management Team No. 25 (QLTT) - Hanoi Market Management Department, recently, the unit coordinated with Phu Nghia Commune Police to inspect a business household with signs of operating the production and trading of goods with signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam.
Accordingly, at 4:00 p.m. on September 18, the inspection team inspected Tran Van Ton business household (Phu Huu 1 village, Phu Nghia commune, Hanoi).
At the time of inspection, Tran Van Ton business household was operating normally in production and business but did not post the price of goods in one of the forms specified in Clause 2, Article 29 of the Law on Prices No. 16/2023/QH15.
Checking goods and invoices and documents for goods with signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam, the inspection team discovered that business household Tran Van Ton was directly operating 03 weaving machines and tools, including 24 rolls of Weaving Fiber chi; 3 sock weaving machines; 20 needles; 30 hooks used to produce and processing products with signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam, including: 13,150 pairs of socks with UNIQLO characters; 1,660 pairs of socks with the symbol of the NIKE brand, 1,670 pairs of socks with DLS characters.




Checking the raw materials directly used to produce goods with signs of counterfeiting the protected trademark, the inspection team discovered that the Tran Van Ton business household had a total of 294kg of unused, unknown quality, no invoices and documents and no basis to determine the origin or place of manufacture of the goods.
The inspection team temporarily detained all exhibits and vehicles with signs of the above violations to continue clarifying the violation against Tran Van Ton business household according to regulations.
