According to information from the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT), Market Management Team No. 24 has just coordinated with the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team, Hoai Duc District Police to inspect 2 business locations in La Phu Commune, Hoai Duc District, Hanoi City.
Accordingly, on October 30, the inspection team conducted an inspection of the business location at 27, lane 23, La Phu street, Chua Tong village (La Phu, Hoai Duc). At the time of the inspection, there was 1 worker in the facility using a labeling machine with the symbol TUDOR TD-3730 to stamp labels of the brands ADIDAS, TOMMY HILFIGER, UNIQLO on socks, and 1 worker packing the products into plastic bags.
Actual inspection of labels at the facility, including: 17,000 labels with UNIQLO brand; 20,000 labels with TOMMY HILFIGER brand.
Finished products at the facility include: 2,000 pairs of ADIDAS brand socks; 4,900 pairs of TOMMY HILFIGER brand socks; 23,100 pairs of UNIQLO brand socks.
All of the above goods have letters and images of the brands ADIDAS, TOMMY HILFIGER, UNIQLO printed directly on the product, cannot be separated or removed from the product, and are attached with labels with letters and images of the above brands. The owner of the establishment could not present invoices or documents related to the above goods.
According to the authorities, all of the above goods showed signs of counterfeiting the brands ADIDAS, TOMMY HILFIGER, UNIQLO. The inspection team temporarily detained all of the above goods, machinery and labels for further verification.
Next, when checking the business location at No. 21, Lane 204, La Phu Street, Chua Tong Village (La Phu, Hoai Duc), the inspection team discovered that a worker was using a sewing machine marked Z5003 to sew the top of the sock product, then put the product into the sock shaping device and bundle it up and bring the goods to the business location at No. 27, Lane 23, La Phu Street to stamp the ADIDAS and PUMA brand labels on the sock products.
Goods at the facility include: 150 pairs of unfinished socks, with unsewn ends, pre-printed with Adidas branded letters and images; 2,400 pairs of ADIDAS branded socks; 2,900 pairs of PUMA branded socks.
All of the above goods have letters and images of the ADIDAS and PUMA brands printed directly on the product, cannot be separated or removed from the product, and are waiting to be brought to address 27, lane 23, La Phu street to attach paper labels to the product.
The owner of the facility could not present invoices or documents related to the above goods.
