Based on Decree No. 152/2025/ND-CP dated June 14, 2025 of the Government stipulating decentralization and delegation of power in the field of emulation and commendation; detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation, the Ministry of Home Affairs conducts public opinion collection on the proposal to award and posthumously award the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" during the anti-American resistance war for national salvation to 1 collective and 4 individuals.
Proposing to award to the collective is Youth Volunteer Team 283, Department of Road Transport, Ministry of Transport (now Department of Maritime and Inland Waterway, Ministry of Construction).
Individual donation proposals include:
(1) Lieutenant Le Van Khanh, former Control Officer, Battalion 64, Regiment 236, Division 361, Air Defense - Air Force Service (later Senior Colonel, Deputy Head of the Department of Tactics - Campaign, Air Defense - Air Force Academy, Air Defense - Air Force Service);
(2) Lieutenant Dao Doan The Hung, former Command Officer, Battalion 42, Regiment 263, Division 361 (now Division 367), Air Defense - Air Force Service (later Colonel, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of National Defense);
Request for posthumous conferment:
(3) Lieutenant Nguyen Dinh Cuong, former Control Officer, Battalion 93, Regiment 261, Division 361 (now Division 367), Air Defense - Air Force Service (later Lieutenant Colonel, Training Plan Assistant, Intermediate and Advanced School of Air Defense, Air Defense Service (now Air Defense - Air Force Service);
(4) Martyr Dinh Van Kien, former Deputy Platoon Leader of Platoon 1, Platoon 1, Company 1, Battalion 1, Regiment 27, Military Region 4 (now Battalion 4, Regiment 27, Division 390, Army Corps 12).
Based on the Law on Emulation and Commendation and Decree No. 152/2025/ND-CP dated June 14, 2025 of the Government, the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee, Ministry of Home Affairs shall conduct public opinion on the proposal to award and posthumously award the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" during the anti-American resistance war for national salvation to 1 collective and 4 individuals mentioned above.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that the contributed opinions should be sent to the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee, address No. 103 Quan Thanh, Ba Dinh, Hanoi for synthesis and reporting to the Central Emulation and Commendation Council.
