Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 2707/QD-TTg dated December 12, 2025 appointing Lieutenant General Le Van Huong - Director of the Department of Military Affairs, General Staff to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

The decision takes effect from the date of signing (December 12, 2025).

Director of 108 Central Military Hospital promoted to Lieutenant General

On the afternoon of December 12, in Hanoi, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense presented the Decision to promote the rank from Major General to Lieutenant General to Professor, Doctor Le Huu Song - Director of the 108 Central Military Hospital, in recognition of his great contributions to the field of military medicine and hospital management.

This promotion of military ranks affirms the recognition of the Party, State and army for the outstanding contributions of Prof. Dr. Le Huu Song, who is currently in charge of the Director of the 108 Central Military Hospital.
