Lieutenant General Le Van Huong - Director of the Department of Military Affairs, General Staff was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

On December 12, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 2707/QD-TTg appointing Lieutenant General Le Van Huong - Director of the Department of Military Affairs, General Staff to hold the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

The decision takes effect from the date of signing (December 12, 2025).
