At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission presented the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to Military Region 9.

On December 9, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 7 solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Military Region Armed Forces' Traditional Day (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025) and received the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to Military Region 7 for its outstanding achievements in training, combat readiness, building the People's Army, strengthening national defense, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
