The Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee has just agreed to allow 20 cadres under its management to retire early according to personal wishes, in order to facilitate the work of restructuring the apparatus in the process of merging and consolidating Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces.
Of these, 2 cadres are members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; 7 cadres are heads of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and unions (of which 3 are members of the Provincial Party Committee); the remaining 11 cadres are deputy heads of provincial departments, branches, and sectors and deputy secretaries of district-level Party committees.
Notably, many cadres are still old enough to continue re-electing for the new term, but have promoted a sense of responsibility, exemplary, and voluntarily written early retirement applications.
Some people include: Mr. Nguyen Tran Quang - Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Tran The Vuong - Director of the Department of Home Affairs (all with 58 months of work remaining); Ms. Vu Thi Mai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Trach District Party Committee and Mr. Dinh Duy Luan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Minh Hoa District Party Committee (all with more than 50 months of work remaining).
In addition, many other leaders of departments and branches also volunteered to retire early such as: Mr. Duong Thanh Binh - Director of the Department of Health, Mr. Dinh Tung Lam - Editor-in-Chief of the Provincial Newspaper and PT-TH Station, Mr. Phan Van Cau - Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, Ms. Chau Thi Dinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union...
According to the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, the initiative and sense of responsibility of these officials is a very valuable action, contributing directly to removing difficulties in personnel arrangement, streamlining the organization when implementing the consolidation of commune-level administrative units, towards merging provinces.
