5 wards and communes of Dong Nai province are kept intact after the arrangement

Dong Nai plans to have 55 wards and communes remaining after the arrangement, of which 5 wards and communes will remain.

On April 23, the Provincial People's Committee issued an official dispatch on organizing the collection of voters' opinions and holding meetings of People's Councils at all levels on the policy of arranging administrative units.

According to the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai province in 2025, Dong Nai province is expected to have 55 wards and communes from the current 159 wards and communes.

Of which, there are 5 wards and communes that are kept intact, including: Phuoc Tan ward and Tam Phuoc ward (Bien Hoa city), Thanh Son commune (Dinh Quan district), Dac Lua commune (Tan Phu district) and Phu Ly commune (Vinh Cuu district). Dac Lua commune and Phu Ly commune are isolated communes.

Dong Nai is currently a province with 11 administrative units including: 2 cities (Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh city), 9 districts including: Long Thanh, Nhon Trach, Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, Cam My, Vinh Cuu, Xuan Loc, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu and 159 commune and ward-level administrative units.
