50 police officers apply for early retirement

In Dong Nai, Quang Ninh, Nghe An and Da Nang provinces last week, there were 50 department-level and equivalent leaders applying for early retirement.

On February 14, Dong Nai Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work.

At the announcement ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai - Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police - presented the decision to retire from retirement benefits from March 1, 2025 to 13 department-level leaders, including 5 department heads and 8 deputy department heads and deputy district police heads.

Implementing the policy of the Politburo, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police, leaders of the above department all voluntarily submitted applications for early retirement to enjoy pension benefits to facilitate the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus of the Provincial Police in the coming time.

The cases of this period of leave are all cadres who have grown up from the grassroots, and are command leaders who have experienced many different fields of work.

On the same day, February 14, Da Nang City Police held a ceremony to announce the decision to retire early for 6 department heads and 9 deputy department heads of the City Police.

Major General Vu Xuan Vien - Director of Da Nang City Police - highly appreciated and acknowledged the sense of responsibility and pioneering, although there was still time to serve, 15 department-level commanders voluntarily wrote an application for early retirement to facilitate the work of restructuring the apparatus of the City Police.

According to Mr. Vien, up to this point, Da Nang City Police has the largest number of department-level leaders applying for early retirement. From now until January 1, it will continue to announce to the police at the district and county levels in the area.

Last week, on February 12, Quang Ninh Provincial Police organized the announcement and presentation of the decision of the Provincial Police Director on early retirement for 9 police leaders of units and localities, including: 5 department heads, 4 deputy department heads and deputy district police heads.

On February 12, Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce decisions on early retirement, in which many officers were department heads, district police heads and 9 deputy heads.

Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of Nghe An Provincial Police Department thanked 13 leaders of the department and district police for volunteering to retire early to facilitate the implementation of the work of arranging and assigning cadres when perfecting the organizational apparatus, as well as developing a personnel plan for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Also at the ceremony, there were 4 deputy police chiefs of the district who wished to continue working and volunteering to hold the position of commune police commander.
