On August 5, according to PV's research, the Government Inspectorate has just released a Report on the results of handling and responding to voters' recommendations sent before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.
In this report, the Government Inspectorate said that, implementing the Law on Anti-Corruption, Decree No. 130/2020/ND-CP dated October 30, 2020 of the Government, the Regulations on coordination between agencies controlling assets and income issued in Decision No. 56-QD/TW dated February 8, 2022 of the Politburo, the Prime Minister has approved the Orientation for annual asset and income verification.
The Government Inspectorate has issued documents guiding ministries, branches and localities to issue plans and implement the verification of assets and income for those who are required to declare assets and income in the form of random selection.
In the first 6 months of 2025, a total of 194,686 people have declared their assets and income; 2,029 people have had their asset and income declarations verified; 8 people have been disciplined for violating regulations on asset and income control (including 6 people were disciplined for dishonest asset and income declarations).
Currently, the Government Inspectorate is researching and developing a Circular guiding the verification of assets of people holding positions and powers in agencies, organizations and units; at the same time, reviewing, amending and supplementing the Law on Anti-Corruption to submit to the National Assembly in the coming time.
