On the afternoon of August 25, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Ministry of National Defense Office organized a ceremony to award the 35-year Party Badge to 6 party members.
General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense attended, awarded Party Badges and delivered directing speeches at the ceremony.
The 35-year Party Badge was awarded to 5 members of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Ministers of National Defense, including:
Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission;
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission;
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien - Member of the Central Military Commission;
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc - Member of the Central Military Commission;
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Central Military Commission.
Also awarded the 35-year Party membership badge on this occasion was Major General Le Van Thuan - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Central Military Commission, Office of the Ministry of National Defense.

On the afternoon of August 24, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Office of the General Staff (BTTM) organized a ceremony to award 35-year and 30-year Party Badges for the 2nd batch of September 2026 to Heads, former Heads of BTTM and party members of the Party Committee of the Office of BTTM.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decisions and awarded the 35-year Party Badges to: Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia; Senior Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son.
