On August 20, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense organized the awarding of the President's decision to 3 officers of the Vietnam People's Army to go on duty at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and the United Nations Interim Security Forces in the Abyei region (UNISFA).
The 3 officers receiving decisions this time include: Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Van Thuc - Lecturer of the General Military Department, Military Faculty, Military Medical Academy, holding the position of Military Observer at the UNMISS Mission;
Major Manh Ngoc Diep - Financial Assistant, Logistics - Technical Department, Information Brigade 21, Border Guard, holding the position of Staff Officer coordinating military-civilian affairs at UNISFA Mission;
Senior Lieutenant Pham Hung - Assistant to the Mission, Department of Local Affairs, Vietnam Peacekeeping Department, holds the position of Operational Staff Officer at the UNISFA Mission.
