Accordingly, the Politburo decided to approve Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ben Tre province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen expressed his joy and honor when the Politburo decided to appoint Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen to the position of Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nen also oriented the key tasks that Ben Tre needs to focus on in the coming time, which are: Complete the goals and tasks assigned by the Party Congress, especially accelerating socio-economic development, aiming for a growth target of over 8%; Continue to reorganize the apparatus and cadres in the political system in the direction of streamlining, strengthening, effectiveness and efficiency; thoroughly grasp and implement Directive 35 of the Politburo on preparing for Party Congresses at all levels and towards the 14th National Party Congress; Extensively implement Resolution 57 of the Politburo on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; Continue to implement the directions and conclusions of the Politburo and the Government's working delegation.
