On April 30, at the Independence Palace, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, United Republic of Indonesia, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo on an official visit to Vietnam and attended the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day from April 27 to April 30.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed the first visit to Vietnam by Minister Mahmoud Thabit Kombo on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries (February 1465 - 14.2225) and emphasized the presence of Ministers and precious guests from Tanzania at this great anniversary to bring the joy and cheer for the Vietnamese Party and the Vietnamese people.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his appreciation for the support that the Revolutionary Party, State and people of Indonesia have given to Vietnam in the past period of struggle for national independence and in the current national construction process.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the two countries increase delegation exchanges at all levels, especially at high levels, hoping to soon welcome President Samia Suluhu Hassan and Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa to Vietnam.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that Indonesia soon open an Embassy in Vietnam, together with the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia, to promote relations between the two countries as well as act as a bridge to bring Indonesia to the ASEAN market and Vietnam to the East African market.
The Prime Minister suggested that the two countries consider economic cooperation as a focus, complete the legal framework for bilateral cooperation, including negotiations and signing of free trade agreements, promote cooperation in areas with potential and strengths such as digital transformation, agriculture, aquaculture, tourism, aviation, education and training, cyber security, etc.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the Tanzanian Government continue to pay attention to and support Viettel and other Vietnamese enterprises to invest and do business stably and effectively, making practical contributions to the development of the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation and Tan nar expressed his honor to be present and share the joy of the Vietnamese people at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Witnessing the patriotism of the people and the brilliant development of the country of Vietnam, Minister Mahmoud Thabit Kombo said more and more understanding the great value of Ho Chi Minh thought and the wise path that the Communist Party of Vietnam chose and expressed the impression of the strong message of General Secretary To Lam at the celebration of Vietnam's development in the future and the commitment of the Vietnam Community with the International Community of Vietnam.
On this occasion, Minister Mahmoud Thabit Kombo respectfully conveyed the warmest greetings and invitation of Ms. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the Revolutionary Party and President of the Republic of Tanzania to the leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam on an early visit to province province.
Agreeing with the proposals and orientations for cooperation that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has raised, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation and Tan narrowly hopes that more Vietnamese enterprises will continue to learn about investment cooperation opportunities in Tan narrow, especially in the agricultural sector, including the production and processing of cashew nuts and agricultural products, taking advantage of Tan narrow gateway location to access markets of East African countries.
Minister Mahmoud Thabit Kombo pledged to promote negotiations, promptly sign the Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement, the double tax avoidance Agreement and specialized cooperation documents to facilitate bilateral cooperation.
