On June 25, Nghe An Provincial Military Command held a conference to hand over the position of Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command (CHQS). Attending and directing the conference were Major General Le Hong Nhan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 and Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee.
According to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense, Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong, Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, was appointed to the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4. Colonel Nguyen Van An, Political Commissar of Division 324, was transferred and appointed to the position of Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

At the conference, the parties comprehensively handed over contents related to the position of the Political Commissar, including: functions, tasks, staff organization; Party building work, force building; situation of facilities, finance, national defense land; results of implementing tasks for the first 6 months of the year and directions and plans for the last 6 months of the year.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong expressed his deep gratitude to Military Region 4, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and all officers and soldiers who have accompanied and supported during the work process. In his new position, he affirmed that he will continue to make efforts and promote experience to successfully complete the task.

Colonel Nguyen Van An affirmed that he will inherit and promote the tradition of the unit, together with the Party Committee and the Military Command of Nghe An province to unite, innovate, and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung congratulated the transferred and appointed cadres, and at the same time hoped that the new Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command would quickly take up the job, continue to build a strong and comprehensive provincial armed forces, contributing to maintaining national defense and security in the area.
Major General Le Hong Nhan suggested that Colonel Nguyen Van An continue to promote his qualities and abilities, stay with the locality, soon stabilize the organization, and play a good role as a consultant to local Party committees and authorities in performing military and defense tasks.
The handover ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and a stable and effective transfer between key cadres of the provincial armed forces.
