Handing over the task of Political Commissar of the Military Command of An Giang province

On the afternoon of August 4, the Party Committee - Military Command (CHQS) of An Giang province organized a conference to hand over the tasks of Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command. Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai, Secretary of the Party Committee - Political Commissar of Military Region 9 and Comrade Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee co-chaired the conference.

At the conference, the content and minutes of the handover of tasks of the Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Military Command were approved. The handover contents focused on the results of leadership and direction in implementing local military and national defense tasks; Party building work, building the provincial armed forces; political and ideological work, personnel organization and key tasks in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, wished the Party Committee and Provincial Military Command to continue to promote traditions, proactively advise Party committees and local authorities to lead the effective implementation of military and defense tasks; build a strong all-people national defense, contributing to maintaining political stability, creating a favorable environment for local development.

Speaking to direct at the conference, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai, Political Commissar of Military Region 9, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results of the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command of An Giang in the past time; and at the same time requested that in his new position, Colonel Nguyen Viet Thang continue to promote qualities, capacity, and work experience, quickly grasp the situation, and together with the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command, lead and direct the provincial armed forces to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Comrade Political Commissar of Military Region 9 emphasized that it is necessary to continue to maintain the principles, promote democracy, unity and solidarity in the Party Committee and Provincial Military Command; focus on improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organization, building a comprehensively strong "model and typical" provincial armed forces, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Speaking to receive the assignment, Colonel Nguyen Viet Thang, Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Military Command, expressed his determination to continue to inherit and promote the achievements and experiences of previous generations of leaders; together with the Party Committee and Provincial Military Command to maintain solidarity, unity, uphold the spirit of responsibility, innovate leadership and direction methods, improve the quality of Party work and political work, contributing to building the province's armed forces to be increasingly strong.
