On the morning of November 28, the Conference to summarize 5 years of the "Silent contributions" communication program (2021 - 2025) and award the "Silent contributions" writing contest in 2025 organized by the Economic and Urban Newspaper in coordination with ActionAid International in Vietnam (ActionAid Vietnam), Vietnam Social Security Program and Project Support Fund (AFV) was held in Hanoi.

Speaking at the program, Editor-in-Chief of the Economic and Urban Newspaper Nguyen Thanh Loi said: After 5 years of implementation, the "Silent Contributes" communication program has become a prestigious media brand with profound influence in society.
From a small initiative, the program has expanded into a forum connecting the press, managers and people, together aiming at the values of compassion, fairness and sustainable development.
"Many stories and characters discovered through the program have become a source of inspiration, spreading the spirit of sharing, arousing faith in the good things in life" - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Loi emphasized.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi assessed that over the past 5 years, the program has honored the important contributions of individuals and groups in caring for, treating and creating the best conditions for female workers, especially female workers who have to rent houses.
Notably, through discussion and dissemination of laws, the understanding of stakeholders, including female workers, employers and the community about workers' rights in the context of the digital economy and climate change has been enhanced.
Thereby, contributing to building a safe and sustainable community; further supporting the rights of the disadvantaged, young people, ethnic minorities...
After nearly 7 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 581 entries (including 450 specialized works and 131 non-specialized works....).
After 2 final and preliminary rounds, for the professional competition, the Jury of the "Silent contributions" contest in 2025 has selected 10 quality works, meeting the requirements of the contest in the final round to award prizes to 10 authors/groups of authors (including 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 3 Third prizes, 5 Encouragement prizes).

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the Second Prize to the Lao Dong Newspaper reporter group with a series of 3 articles: "Creating a social security point so that freelance women are not left behind".
The organizing committee awarded 2 collective prizes and certified 10 works to the final round.
For the award system for non-professional authors, the Jury also selected 9 outstanding works to award to 9 authors/groups of authors (1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes, 5 Encouragement Prizes).
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 1 group that actively participated in the competition and 10 prizes for works that entered the final round.
The total prize value of the "Silent contributions" writing contest in 2025 is up to 240 million VND.
