On the evening of December 18, the 4th National Press Award Ceremony for the National Assembly and People's Council (Pink Award) took place in Hanoi.
This is one of the activities towards the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).
At the Award Ceremony, the Award Organizing Committee decided to award Certificates of Merit from the Office to 15 typical press agencies and the Office of National Assembly Delegations, People's Councils, and agencies and units that actively participated in the award. Lao Dong Newspaper is honored to be one of 15 outstanding collectives receiving Certificates of Merit.
Mr. Le Quang Manh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award and Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council - presented Certificates of Merit to outstanding collectives.
With the theme "80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly", the Red Line Award attracted 3,508 entries from 125 press agencies across the country. After classification, 659 works are eligible to be submitted to the preliminary round.
Through a serious, fair, scientific and responsible working process, the Preliminary Council selected 91 works for the final round and the Final Council decided to propose awards for 64 best works.
According to the assessment, this year's works are of high professional quality, clearly depicting the activities of the National Assembly in the fields of legislative, supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country, especially vividly recreating the very proud journey of the 80th anniversary of the National Assembly of Vietnam.
Many works have been invested in carefully, strongly applying information technology and multimedia communication, showing the innovations and professionalism of the press in the digital age.
