On December 11, the Hanoi Emulation and Reward Board (Hanoi Department of Home Affairs) issued an official dispatch on posting information on the case of requesting State-level rewards.
The document clearly stated that, based on the Emulation and Commendation Law and the Decree of the Government, the Hanoi Emulation and Commendation Committee posted information to collect public opinions on the proposal to award the First Class Military Exploit Order to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.
According to the document, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc was proposed to be awarded the First Class Military Exploit Order for his outstanding achievements in implementing Decision No. 06/QD-TTg dated January 6, 2022 of the Prime Minister on the Project to develop applications of data on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06).
In particular, from August 2019 to June 2024, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc was Deputy Minister of Public Security; from January 2022 to June 2024, he was Deputy Minister of Public Security, Permanent Deputy Head of the Government's Project 06 Working Group.
