On the afternoon of December 11, Hanoi held a conference to evaluate and draw lessons from the site clearance work for the Ring Road 1 project (Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section).
Concluding the conference, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc expressed his gratitude and commended the staff, civil servants, public employees, and residents of the residential groups and people of the three wards: O Cho Dua, Lang, Giang Vo for their agreement to complete the site clearance for the investment project to build Ring Road 1 (Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section).
According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, the construction of the beltway system in the capital is very urgent, in order to serve the travel needs of the people as well as serve the socio-economic development of the city and localities in the Hanoi capital region. Therefore, the completion of site clearance for each project is very important, creating a premise for completing projects in the capital.
Emphasizing the completion of planning and implementation of projects that play a very important role in the development of the country and the capital, Hanoi Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that in this work, the task of site clearance is especially important to create space and complete infrastructure for economic development. Therefore, in the coming time, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of communes and wards need to clearly define their tasks and responsibilities and must be associated with the implementation roadmap.
"Experience from site clearance for the Ring Road 1 project shows that we have taken drastic action, made breakthroughs and received consensus from the people and organizations. The city has specifically assigned the city's leaders and departments, branches and sectors to coordinate in performing tasks; this is a way of doing things that need to continue to be promoted. The tasks under the responsibility of the locality must be clearly defined, the tasks of departments and branches must also be thorough and this needs to create synchronization throughout the city," Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, through the conference, all leaders of communes and wards listened to the experience of the 3 wards in site clearance; thereby seeing the responsibility and authority to resolve each local project.
For the Ring Road 1 project (Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section), Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested localities where the project passes through to continue to coordinate with the City Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board to clean and neatly clean the areas where the site has been cleared; at the same time, mobilize people to renovate the streets to be clean and beautiful, ensuring urban aesthetics.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc directed the City Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board to immediately calculate the construction plan as soon as possible; during the construction process, it is necessary to minimize the impact on people's travel. The construction unit has to fence off as much as possible and focus on traffic regulation.
Hanoi Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc proposed to replicate the methods and experience in site clearance for the Ring Road 1 project, in the spirit of site clearance for the construction of projects to ensure progress and minimize the impact on people's lives and ensure the environment in the project construction area.
