Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang and a delegation of leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directly surveyed the reality at key projects in the central area that have just been renovated.

At the Ben Thanh market construction site, by the morning of February 5th, the entire renovation had been completed, putting on a brilliant appearance with red tiled roofs and cream yellow walls; the square area in front of the market was decorated with wave patterns and opened to welcome the bustling spring travel crowd.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang requested the Market Management Board to ensure the best service for people and tourists. Regarding the toilet area, the Secretary directed to always maintain cleanliness, open doors wide and free for both tourists and people outside to use to create the most convenience and comfort. Regarding some technical issues such as roof slopes or waterproofing, the Secretary noted not to do it hastily before Tet to avoid errors, and can calculate and handle fundamentally after Tet, before the upcoming rainy season.

Leaving Ben Thanh market, the working delegation moved to survey the Turtle Lake Roundabout area. Unlike the previous construction images, currently all barriers and scaffolding have been dismantled, restoring a spacious and clean space. The central tower, sidewalks and walkways have all been completed, many people have started to come to play and take photos. City leaders expressed satisfaction when they saw that the project has been completed in time, creating more civilized and safe public space for city residents to enjoy during Tet.

The end of the survey trip is the destination at the park area of Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium. This is the project that records the most spectacular change when it has officially opened to welcome guests with the appearance of a green "ecological forest". Here, Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang especially appreciated the spirit of responsibility and companionship of businesses in coordinating with the government to improve the landscape. The fact that businesses proactively invest and turn the abandoned land for many years into a modern public park with full amenities right before the New Year is a practical and meaningful action, an effective socialization model that needs to be replicated to jointly build Ho Chi Minh City to become more civilized and meaningful.
